Does the SpySweeper give you a location of that trojan ?

 

no ,spysweeper is Quarantining it. guess i need to figure out a way to run SmitfraudFix to fix whatever this is right

 

Ok. Check from the TrendMicros settings if there is a option not to scan inzide packed files (.zip files). If there is one, disable the packed files scanning and then download smitfraudfix.zip again to your desktop.

Then unplug your internet cable and disable the whole trendmicro.

Unzip smitfraudfix.zip (folder named SmitFraudFix) to your desktop:

Open the folder SmitfraudFix and doubleclick smitfraudfix.cmd
Choose option #1 - Search by typing 1 and pressing "Enter"; a textfile opens and lists the infected files (if those exist)

Save the contents of that textfile to your desktop.

Enable/Restart Trendmicro and enable the packed files scanning.

Re-plug your internet cable.

Post the contents of that smitfraudfix textfile to here.

 

i disabled EVERYTHING and SmitfraudFix still wont run ,iam going to have to figure it out on my end i guess sorry to waste your time JaPAK ,thanks for all the great help

 

Ok, did you try disable antivirus it before downloading smitfraudfix? If not, trendmicro has propably once again deleted that one file that belongs to the fix.

 

yes i disabled that and spysweeper it just wont run ,heres what it looks like when i try to run it



i click open and get the same box then it appears like my first screen shot then if i hit a key the box disappears, sorry its so much trouble

 

Ok good that you posted that picture, now I know what the problem is.

You are running it inside of a zip file. You must extract the whole contents of the zip file into a new folder on your desktop.

So extract all of the contents from the smitfraudfix.zip into a new folder , e.g smitfraudfix.

Then close winzip and go to the folder you just created. Then run SmitfraudFix.cmd file.

Then Choose option #1 - Search by typing 1 and pressing "Enter"; a textfile opens and lists the infected files (if those exist)

Post the contents of this textfile to here.

Ok good, lets remove those files that were found....

Restart your computer to the safemode and choose your normal user account -> http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml

When in safemode, open SmitfraudFix folder and doubleclick the file smitfraudfix.cmd
Choose option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and pressing "Enter" in order to remove the infected files.

You are asked: "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove your desktop wallpaper and the infected registry keys.

The tool checks if wininet.dll file is infected. You might be asked to replace the infected .dll (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".

The tool might have to restart your computer; if it won't do it, restart your computer back to normal mode.
A textfile will appear after the cleaning process, copy this file and paste it to here.
Tha log is saved to your local diskdrive, usually C:\rapport.txt.

Warning : Running option 2 in a clean computer will delete your desktop wallpaper.

GREAT!!! i ran Spysweeper and Ewido both in safe mode and came up clean then ran my Trend Mirco with a manual scan clean also ,wish i could run my virus scan in safe mode but you cant with the Trend Mirco ,thanks lots for all the help JaPAK

At first, disable realtime protections from the following programs because those may hinder the cleaning process: Windows Defender, Ewido anti-malware, SpywareDoctor, SpySweeper

Open Notepad
-> copy the following lines into a new document:

@echo off
sc stop csrs
sc delete csrs

Save the document to your desktop as Removal.bat and filetype: All Files
Go to your desktop and run the file Removal.bat and answer yes to any questions.

Make your hidden files visible -> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html
Restart your computer to the safemode -> http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml

Delete this file (if found):
C:\WINDOWS\csrss.exe

Scan and clean your computer with Ewido and save the log file.

Restart your computer normally.

Make your hidden files invisible again and enable all realtime protections.

Post a fresh HijackThis log and Ewido's log to here so we can see if your computer is now clean.
