It's been a long time since I burned an audio cd. When I use to do it, I use to convert the mp3 files to wav files first. Then I burned them with Nero. Today I just burned a cd without converting it to wav files and it stilled worked in my car cd player.

So im wondering did i ever have to covert it to wav in the first place? BTW Im using Nero 6.

You can load mp3's into Nero and it will do the changing automatically. So you get an audio CD if you select that mode.

Many older car cd players would not play MP3's. Nowadays there are many more car CD players that will playback MP3 files.

Really depends on your car unit.
