I'm a dummy when it comes to hooking this mess up. I have it hooked up, but for some odd reason when I got it hooked up and I finally saw the cyberhome spash screen I never touched it again. It took me almost an hour to get all the cables run to where it would finally work.

I'm sure I have something wrong. What I wanted was to be able to hookup the tuner source along with my PVR. When I select A/V source which is actually my PVR it works fine, but when I select Tuner as the source I get this audio hum on recordings.

I do for some odd reason have 2 sets of a/v cables hooked up to the back of the DVD Recorder. One goes to the TV-Dvd recorder and the other goes to the cable box-dvd recorder. Like I said I don't know why but when it finally worked I just left it alone. I'm thinking this may be causing the hum. Could someone tell me how I need to hook this up so I will be able to select tuner as the source and also be able to select PVR as the source when I want to and only use 1 set of a/v cables

Didn't see this post, So you got the 1200

I going to assume that you had the system set up as this.
The PVR was connected (composit three RCA connectors Yellow, Red, White)) to the TV.
Remove these connections from the TV and connect them to the 1200 input connectors on the rear of the 1200, This would be Video/Audio 1 on the source selection.
Connect the 1200 otput to the TV as the PVR was
This connection will require that the 1200 be {Power On)
NOTE that this does not mean the burner is working. It is necessary for a signal pass thruogh as for the PVR.

    The source is Video/Audio 1
NOTE with the 1200.1600, or 05/ If you play a DVD or turn the 1200 off it will revert to a source default which is DVD. You will have to reset the source to veiw the TV/
