does anyone know if its possbile to print a real picture on the whole cd. I am pretty new to this and I've tried creating a cd with an entire pic on the cd, as well as just taking up half of the cd. Is lightscribe capable of printing these vivid images?

Yes, it will print the entire image, but in a subdued monochromatic sort of way. If you really want a vibrant, colorful image, try using inkjet printable disks and an inkjet printer which prints on CD disks.

thanks for the update, but I just tried adding a picture the other day. when I do, it only takes a several minutes before it says complete. When I check the disc out it only has the alphabetical images that I put on it and no picture? I tried just printing several different pics with no luck....am I doing anything wrong? can anyone help?

Will respond with a detailed explanation later tonight when I get back from work. Unless another AD member cares to answer in the meantime.
I use a program called surething CD labeler, look it up in hte meantime. I don't use Nero anymore. Photoshop is also another alternative to look into if you have it.
    Edited for atrocious spelling.

I've been putting pictures on lightscribe discs from day one that i got my lightscribe burner.. Lightscribe.com's tool works alright but sometimes it's difficult to position the picture just as you want it. Try resizing the picture if you run into that problem.

I usually find a thumbnail sized picture from the dvd cover online.. Then add it to the top of the DVD i'm scribing,, Then add Title and Info in the texts areas..
    Hope this helps..
