Question burning mpg to vcd

    I have an mpg that play great on the pc. when i burn the mpg to a vcd to play on me DVD player it plays good for about half the video then it get blocky. i used easy cd creater and nero and the same thing happens. any idea on how to correct this?

    This sounds Like either Bad Media or you are Burning your VCD"s on too high of a Speed..You should allways Burn VCD"s and SVCD"s at the Slowest Speed Possible because they have no error correction data so all Burn errors are Read by the DVD Player and the closer you get to the end of a CD-R the More errors there will be...so if you Can Try burning the VCD"s at 4X speed...Cheers

    I burned the vcd at 4X instead of 16X and the video is great. That for the help.
