I have disc I am backing up that reads OK in a DVD player but that neither of my DVD ROMs can get through when ripping due to a bad file. Basically, one .VOB file is under a disc defect and DVD Dcrypter and DVD Shrink choke on it.

I tried DVD Decrypter's movie & IFO only mode (since the VOB in question was skipped, but I cannot figure out how to burn those to the target DVD-5 (DVD Shrink won't open them). I haven't found a DVD Decrypter guide with enough info on Move Only modes, so I'm stuck.

    Anyone have any advice?

    Thanks in advance.

    katmandoo,
Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you have either a bad press or a bad scratch but you can tell DVDDecrypter to skip the errors and keep going. Suggest you try though AnyDVD along w/ Shrink . AnyDVD has a 21 day free trial and if you like it then you can buy it
