Hello. I am new to buying digital camcorders and using them. I had a question about the digital camcorders that use mini dvds.

How do I upload the movie to my computer? I have been looking at them online, and they all have USB connection. Now, I have seen that USB is only good for uploading graphics.

Also, when I do upload them to my computer, are they going to be compatable with Windows Movie Maker? I need this to be true so that I can just save the movie as a WMV for the web.

    Thanks.

All miniDV camcorders also have a DV connection (aka Firewire, iLink or IEEE1394). Use this connection to upload your movies. And yes, you can use these files in Moviemaker and then convert them to wmv for webstreaming.
