question reguarding ram volatage

    just relized that i got 2.1v ram and my motherboard is set to run 1.8v =/ i herd i can change the bios for it to run 2.1v ram. is that true? i cant really check as of now, waiting for next paycheck to pay off the last 2 pieces i need (PSU and HD)

    Go into the BIOS, find the Motherboard Intelligent Tweaker (M.I.T.) Section, and find memory voltage. Set it to +0.3V.

    i cant right now....waiting for next paycheck to buy the hard drive and PSU. then would i go into the BIOS before installing an OS or doesnt it matter?

    It doesn't matter, you can do it before or after.
