    Can Divx players play avi video that are burned from computer?

    As long as the AVI contains a file that has been compressed using the DivX or XviD codec and otherwise meets the specifications laid down in the players manual -yes.
    The file is burned as data on a CD or DVD using a suitable burning program.

    Nero Express works for me. Just select Data Disc and
    youll be fine. Assuming you have the right codec. For
    that just install G-Spot.

    I just got a pioneer DV-400v-S (Divx certified) at bestbuy...what do you guys think?
