Questions about Starview The Box Super

A booster would help, you can get one in arg0s if its annoying you

 

Sorry for all the questions I'm just a n00b, but can you link me to a booster on the argos site? Or any site, i've never seen one and just need to see what they look like.

Another question

When I flashed The Box Super, and plugged it back in, I scanned for all the channels but when it finished and I turned the EMU on nothing happened, it didn't update, it just came on. Is it supposed to update?

 

Menu > 1570
Set default key, press ok
Exit to s*y sports & let it update

 

Am I supposed to do that straight after the flash? I done that and now when I press on a channel its just black.

EDIT: OK, Its updating now. I'll let you know if it works. Its on 0% for about 3 minutes now, and its not moving.

 

Why did you flash your b0x if it was working ok?
And what firmw@re did you flash it with?

 

No, I was told to flash it with 709e (i think) I done that, but it didn't update after it so am updating now.

 

If its taking its time updating, go to the ch@nnel next to s*y sports & it should kick in. If not, turn the b0x off at the back for about 20 secs, turn back on. Set the default key again, s*y sports etc.

could someone please give me some information, my friend got The box super and cannot get it going in his sitting room but it works perfectly upstairs,, he has ch***s cable and living in limerick city, any advice would be brillant,,,

 

Sounds like a signal issue, if using any splitters in the sitting room remove them and run it directly of the wall direct to the box, then to the TV
