Questions about using both DVD shrink and DVD rebuilder

I ordered a new litey SHM-165H6S dvdrw drive and some more verbatim DL dvd+r's. I'm gonna try doing the same to law and order season 14. I'm curious to see how that litey does with DL media. My old litey and benq would only give me descent burns on DL media at 2.4x. Hopefully this litey will burn DL media at 4x or faster with good results. I was torn between that litey and a benq 1655. I chose the litey cause it was on sale and too hard to pass up.

I plan on upgrading my benq with a 1650 down the road. I can pick up one of them for $35 - 40 most anytime.

Let me know how that Litey performs am curious. I still burn my dl at 2.4x, mainly cause I know they come out. I hate to waste one, they still are too high priced but probably will try the 4x in the future. One thing about Lite-on they are durable and consistent. I think they are a little noisier than some other drives but they always perform as they are supposed to.
