I cannot get it to install correctly. I downloaded the setup files and put them on the memory card. I get a blank screen or the R4 locks up on the loading screen. I can use V. 1.16 no problem. Does anyone have some advice on how to get 1.17 to run?
I had a similar problem. Mine would give me a black screen when I tried to enter moonshell...at first. Mine works now. All I did was deleted all of the R4 folders and files from my microSD (_system_, moonshl folders and _DS_MENU.DAT, _DS_MSHL.NDS files). Then I just dragged the files from my computer onto the Micro SD again and it worked. I'm not sure why it worked the second time but not the first. I didn't even redownload the 1.17 file. Hope this helps.
I tried that and it did not work. I downloaded the files from r4ds.com. I got an email saying I should download my files from r4dsl.net? Do you know what is up with that?
