Hi ive just bought some corsair ddr2 xms pc6400 800mhz installed it on my asrock ALiveSATA2-GLAN VIA® K8T890 CF mother board but now it keeps crashing, is this corsair ddr2 xms pc6400 800mhz compatiable with my board.
Ive have been using corsair ddr2 xms pc5400 667mhz with this same board for over 12 mths now had no problems with it.
according to my manual my board should take upto 800mhz which corsair ddr2 xms pc6400 800mhz is.

    ANY ADVICE WELCOME

    Thanks

Take one of the sticks out, and see if it crashes. If it does, try the other one (do this individually). If it crashes, then either both sticks are faulty or your motherboard didn't support them from the beginning.
