I just downloaded a file with a pmp extension. Does anyone know what program to play it with? I tried VLC, Real, and Windows Media Player, but not working.

Also I got a second file with extension mdf and mds, I can play mdf with VLC player but no sound.

pmps are photos. taken by an old school sony digi camera. its really the exact same thing as jpg. in fact, if you remove the first 124 bytes of info, you could rename it .jpg.
the mdf, mds... the mdf is an image file, the mds is structure info of said image.(like a .cue) Mount the mdf with daemon tools or alcohol. Or burn to dvd using the mdf

use gspot, or look at the header with a Hex viewer.
Then people wont have to guess at it.
