Hello, I have been using a RCA Universal Remote (model 241079: it does not have the code search bottom) with an older JVC television. A few days ago, the remote got deprogrammed. I am trying to reprogram the remote for my JVC, but I can not find my manual and I do not remember the code for JVC televisions. Can anyone help by giving me step by step instructions on how to this and the codes for JVC televisions? Thank you
Hi, This is how you program the 241079 remote to operate your tv. 1. Turn on the TV 2. press and hold the TV button on the remote. 3. Using the number keys on the remote enter the four digit numbers (at the end of this reply). 4. Release the button and then press the on/off button. See if the tv responds to the remote control commands. If it doesn't try pressing the component button and the on/off again. 5.
