re: Which dvd player do i need?

    I have just bought a portable dvd player which is quite good and it plays coppies, but i have just recently been to tenerife and bought a few dvds but they wont play on my dvd player.
    So what dvd player do i need to buy to play it on????

    hope some 1 can tell me

    Sounds like the dvds you have bought are of a different region. I would do a google search with your player name & region code crack. Otherwise you may have to get a multi-region dvd player. My toshiba 330 was only £80. It plays everything I chuck at it.

    I think you may have region code problems, I would make a copy with shrink & set the region to region 2.

    OK. I am not sure how to change the code settings with shrink!!!! I use anydvd to overcome region code protection. Scuba pete (or Scuba "Mr shrink" pete) will help, I cannot guarantee if it will work. Depends how fussy your player is. If you keep a look out I am sure scuba will come to your aid. Failing that PM him.
    Sorry for being as much use as a chocolate fireguard!

    Its ok problem sorted i now how to change the region now,
