have a video in real video format that I'm trying to convert to either avi. or mpg. so I can burn to cd. I have tried dozens of converters but nothing works...just get error messages such as "unable to read file","file format not supported" and when using EO video (which I've used for converting rm with no problems)I get a "real media file error 30810-0" message. The vid plays fine in real player...does anyone know why I'm having such problems converting or how to do this conversion??? Help is needed and would be much appreciated.....?????

THANKS for replying...I tried the converter from boilersoft but it gives me the "not a video file/format not supported" error message. If vid plays ok in real player it must be ok right?

I had experienced this problem but just move this real video to a new folder and retry. I can work it out in this way.

hi, I don't know if you have already solved your problem, since it's been a while you posted this thread. If still have not, maybe you can have a try on winavi video converter which works perfectly for me for a long time.
By the way, you can download the winavi from http://www.winavi.com
