OK, I have an avi file.

Divx reads it as being 1hr 32mins long. However, when it is played back it runs for only 2 and a half minutes????

Is there any way to rebuild the time code, or is it one for the recycle bin?

    cheers

Yes, there are a number of programs that will open video files (MPG, AVI, MOV etc.) and attempt to repair them.
This usually involves re-writing the file's header info, kind of a little 'table of contents' of file information which is sometimes damaged/glitched/in error.
You can download them & use them; find them with Google.
Then, next time you come back to them your 30days will be long gone, and you must uninstall (or purchase ;^)
