I need a 5.1 sound card and system. Something that's relative cheap but good, cause I'm extremely poor right now.

Are you going to build the system yourself or have a buddy do it? This is the cheapest and best way to go..

Well if your looking for cheap.. You can go with this card. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=29-117-105&depa=1

    And these speakers http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=36-131-011&depa=1

    all together around $40

    I would go with this...
    Sound Card
    http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=29-102-166&depa=1

    Speakers
    http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=36-150-013&depa=1

    That would be around $150

Just look around on Newegg is your best bet.. :) I wasen't so sure how cheap you wanted to go exactly?

I'm willing to spend around $100. And what does it mean when a sound card has a DVD-Audio feature?

Yes the Creative Audiji is the one I provided the link to for the sound card I would go with its 44$ then go ahead and buy some decent 5.1 speakers with a subwoofer for 50$ and there ya go a kick butt sound system! You cant go wrong with the Audiji though..

    Good luck :)
