Recommend me a video card!!!

    I own a SAPPHIRE ATI Radeon 9250 pci bus ver 128MB ddr memory video card and i wanna upgrade to better graphics card so i can play my Monster Madness game ---can any one recommend me a card or somthing in a fair price "affordable" yet really good? or just plain better then my video card i have now? not sure what i should go with?

    if you're stuck on pci, then it's best to find a 256mb 9250/x1300/x1550.

    recommended system requirements say that 1gig of ram should be installed. if you can, install 1gig.

    yes i have 1 gig of ram and i wanna spend under 200$$ if i can

    most pci cards are under $100.

    if you have agp or pci-e x16, then the prices will be between $100-$200. most mainstream pci-e x16 cards are within $120-200. high end gamer cards will be in the $230+ range.

    go to newegg.com, and look at the video cards within your price range, and video card slot.

    if its an AGP setup that you have... go with the Nvidia Geforce 7900GS... It runs about 150 USD on newegg...

    I wanted one sub 100.00 so I went with the ATI X1650 and for the price (about 70 USD on newegg), its a damn good card. Got it up and running without a hitch earlier today. I'm playing call of duty 4 at medium low settings on 1024 resolution perfectly.
