    Hello all,

I have got a Sony DVD recorder and want to be able to record to disk highlights and things from my PS2 games, I have conected up my PS2 to my Sony DVD recorder using the normal red white and yellow leads.

I can get the picture to play through the DVD however I can't record it.

When I click record it says it can't record in NTSC format and only PAL. My PS2 is a standard UK version which I thought was PAL anyway, I can't find any setting on the DVD recorder to change is over to record NTSC format.

Would an S-video lead do the trick?

My recorder is a Sony RDRGX210.

    Many thanks.

    Hello,

I think you would have better results if you tried to change the PS2 to PAL, I don't know if it works with PS, but it's very easy with Xbox (just need to go to the dashboard, then configuratiand finnaly you go to video and change).

2nd - You can also try to connect the PS2 with the Recorder with a Scart Cable (I believe it's a S-Video, I don't know those names).

    Good luck
