Recording computer screen

    Is it possible to record the computer screen onto camcorder tape? I'm using a Sony mini dv camcorder and can record from tv, just wondered if i can do the same from computer and if so how?

    run your pc to your tv via your graphic card with s-viedo cable if you can record tv shows then you will see your desktop any thing you do then can be recorded

    there are a programs out there that allow you to do this, and it is much easier.
    i believe snagit allows you to record desktop video
