Recording

when i try to record with my mic it doesnt go into the computer i tried a new mic connctions and setings it dont work help!!!

 

double-lick on the audio icon in the system tray and make sure the microphone is activated

okay, what software are you using to record? check the hardware input settings, it might be trying to record from the line-in, not mic

 

iuse Magix music maker and i dono how to change the settings on it i never toched them and it used to work

 

check the audio inputs under the control panel. you might try another audio program, like audacity which is free
