Accidentally deleted ( shift + del )a RAR file 1 hour ago. I've downloaded 10 different recovery programs but NONE of them can show a trace of my deleted file... Any idea how to recover it? I'm losing lots of work there... BTW, the RAR file is encrypted and password protected... Thanks!
There is a program called Handy Recovery which claims to recover files which were deleted using shift+delete, it costs $30. WinUndelete is another. I suggest a program called Recover My Files: http://www.recovermyfiles.com/ note: Its not free but its very good its worth it.
yes.... I always promise myself to do back-ups but ALWAYS forget! anyway, ain't it weird that after testing 10 different programs, NOT a single one could find the file? Not even as if it were non-recoverable... is shift + del almighty *grin*
