   When I copy region 2 dvds to region free, the dvd plays Ok on my cheap LG player, but won't play on my Toshiba HD a-30 or Panasonic standard dvd players. I was going to get a blu-ray player but don't know which ones will play these converted dvds

   Region 2 DVD's are PAL disks - are you in a PAL region (EU) or North America (NTSC).
