Does anyone know if reinstalling windows resets your registry? I need to flush it and I figured that might do the trick.

    Hi,

re-installing windows will definitly (flush) your registry.

but if thats all thats wrong with windows on your pc, why dont you just run registry mechanic. this eliminates all empty or left over reg keys that old software left behind.

could definitly save you some time.

unless your like me, like to redo your system every 6 months, just to keep things like new.

    anyways,
    hope this helps...

yeah, I like to re-install Windows every couple of months as well. It gets rid of all the remnants of all the programs that I've downloaded, mucked around with, broken, and then removed again.
