remote control problem

    Please can someone advise me what to do with my (clone) remote? every now and then it stops working.

    I thort it was the batarys so i changed them with new duracell ones and it still happens.

    If you have a mobile phone with a camera, switch it to camera mode. Point the remote and press some buttons at the camera lens, and you should see the infra-red LED flashing on the screen. If you don't see it flashing, then yes, the remote is dead.If you do see it flashing, then it's not the remote.

    when it works i see a blue light flashing but when it stops there is no lashing light. 2 hours later (or when it decides to work because its on and off from working and not working) there is a flashing light again. what am i to do? how can i get a new remote.?

    Google wizardsatellites they do them for a few quid.
