Is there any way for me to control my xbox from my pc. The only controller i have had a run with a pair of scissors. I have evolutionx on it and i want to watch a video on my e drive using xbmc. I thought as it is unix based their might be some way to ssh in.

    cheers

read a guide on how to FTP. There are hundred of them on the internet. After that you can set up a home network on your PC. Then you set the folders with your movies on the PC for sharing in the properties and you will be able to use XBMC to stream music and video from the PC to the Xbox using a crossover cable or wireless network.

I know how to ftp but that isn't going to help me control my xbox using my pc. If I can use XBMC to stream content from my PC how do I start it without a controller, is there no way to run a remote shell on my computer and use that to navigate and control my xbox.

    Cheers,
