Hi, I wanted to know what is the best tool/program to rip or take out such things as menus and special features to increase the overall quality of the video. Also, are three any other tools which keep high video quality when ripping dvds. I currently use DVD shrink and DVD decrypter. Thanks
Dry DVD-Rebuilder, buts a bit complicated for Newbies, so id wait for someones elses opinion. Shrink shoudl work fine for what you need.
shrink is among the fastest in recode procedure. I always use this tool for all my compilations (me also leave out menus, extras, special featurs etc from my backups). If you have enough time to kill you can use rempeg2 (it takes about 18 hours to complete and you must make the correct calculations before enter the right compress ratio for your compilation). Since nobody users any more rempeg2 I don't inted to forward a quick manual for it.
