Replacement for my Digivox. What do you recommend?

My digivox is tired and old so i'm considering purchasing a new cable receiver. I've read that the Starview 4 is very neat with usb connection for ext HD. Anyone else recommend a good receiver?

I have no problem with updating firmware so i'm no technophobe and i like the idea of recording. I'm presuming there is no HD type box out there yet (for cable)?

starview 4 or eurovox 5000/7000 will suffice your needs...or why not go get the newer digivox,the digivox xl!

 

Thanks for your reply. I was just reading about the Eurovox 7000. From what i understand it can handle HD streams as well as normal. Do you know if the firmware is good enough to get all the channels like the digivox did ?

 

I've just read there is only 1 HD channel on Virgin at the moment. is that information correct at time of writing ?

 

some boxes have dual tuners sat/cable and more hd channels on sat.

 

i've never looked into Sat. how expensive is it to get the rest of the hardware after getting the dual digi box?

 

hi i bought a super 4 notting but head ach lol well really from my girlfriend so stay away from they ya the box as well lol no ive got a super box now as i did not like the super 4 even with the hard drive
