as far as I am aware, this does not work on the PVR but those with greater knowledge will confirm or deny dont think a fix has been done for the pvr and doubt there will be, certain folks trying to work out how its done, but hard with limited knowledge - so just inputting changes of numbers is still required, with old firmware
I didn't realise you had a pvr, 9.10 was never for the pvr. I will ask Brian to check, as far as i know the new file is ok for the pvr, will just make sure.
Thanks Evastar/Tizler Ive been told that the new file does work with the PVR, but for some reason it doesnt like this one lol, no problem because at the mo I can still connect, and it has 913 on, just need the codes to roll rather than the manual input.
Hi, got a reply, the fix is not working with the pvr, it is being looked at but it is unlikely that there will be a fix for the pvr, sorry.
If your having problems with pictures freezing/jumping on the Reply Lite check the frequency's of the offending chanels against a working box. I had this issue after setting up a Reply Lite a few months back and found that some of freq's were slighlty out when compared to a working Starview. Has to delete the bad channels and manualy scan on the correct freq.
Hello,I have trouble with two Replay Lite boxes. Have flashed both using Fix 18/12/08 with no success. Download works as per instructions.However after Auto Search is completed a screen message indicates no channels found. Location N*l Dublin. Thank you for any assistance offered.
Thank you for responding so quickly. I have flashed using 28122008, no chanels picked up. I did not save the user information prior to downloading. Do I need to enter any codes after flashing ?.Tried factory default,no joy.I notice the Edit Nagra keys do not change after Flashing is this correct?. Thanking you for the support.

Thanks to everyone for their help but I think N*L have done something to my signal. I've downloaded and successfully applied latest firmware 281208. Did a full scan. Box retrieves approx 120 channels most of them are unwatchable due to picture freezing/jumping and "Bad Signal" occasionally displayed. BTW, I've checked/changed all connections several times! Incidentally about 40 of the channels "retireved" are just listed as TV Channel 1, TV Channel 2 i.e. instead of BBC1, RTE1 etc. I think from postings a few others have same problem. Anyone know wnaything about this? Once again thanks to all the posters who've saved me up to now......
Have you got a splitter on your signal? Sounds like a weak signal. If you have try scanning directly from cable feed, and if you don't consider getting a signal booster.
Thanks Evastar. No my signal is direct (not split). I'll look at getting a signal booster (presume they're available in most electrical shops). A little surprised as everything worked fine up till about Dec 23rd
Where are you based? They might be working on your cables? Have you got a proper cable co box, how is that working?
most channels are NOT named on the recent scans (from what I read) - you just have to take the time to go through them all and suss which is which, rename and then move, if you want. Most of the ones you want are just named TV CHANNEL - but are all there - not sure, but maybe abbreviated to TV Chan or similar. Hey - what do you expect? If you want to go down this route, then you need to work lol or pay to have them properly lol
Thanks Evastar/Tizler. I have NTL Broadband, Phone & Digital! 1 co-ax arrives goes to a "replay" and then scart to my TV. Thanks Tizler re TV Channel names but the vast majority of my channels are unwatchable due to picture freezing etc. A couple of other people i know outside the forum say similar things happening them but others I know have no problem so I'm guessing signal is being "modified" by region. I'll try an get the signal booster as per Evastar's suggestion.....

Hi all, i know some have had issues similar to mine but was just wondering if anyone has managed to get their RL working A OK after the following problem?? I have updated my Replay with the latest firmware but have noticed that i am unable to view some of the premium channels since i did this. Channels such as Sly 1, 2 & 3 are displaying a blue screen which is the background image of some sort. I have gone through all the TV_CH but unable to find them unscrambled. Also the Sly Movie channels have the same issue. I have re-scanned with the RL directly connected to the coax without a splitter but the same result. Would using someone elses channel dump help?? Anyone else had this issue and managed to resolve it? Hoping someone can help as i have 3 RL's to sort including my own for family and they are nagging me Cheers
