    Hi Afflick1.

You will have to upgrade your box with 752 software.

You will need a Null Modem lead to transfer the 752 software from your PC to the Box.
Make sure the null modem lead has part number L71BT on the front of the cover.
Do not accept anything that does not have this part number.

The rest of the software can be obtained at. http://eko.4shared.com/

    Go to the replay folder.

Go to documentation and download: Flashing the replay lite box. This will guide you through the flashing process.
Read this thoroughly before you attempt to flash the box.

Go to the software folder and download: stblink5.20.zip
This is the file that will transfer the firmware from your PC to the replay lite box.

Go to the firmware folder and download:
    752
This is the file that need to be transferred to your box from your PC via the null modem lead.

When you have all these files downloaded, you are ready to go.
Follow the instructions of the flashing the replay lite doc.

When the files are being transferred from your PC to the box, the led on the box will be flashing at this speed[IMG]

Don't unplug the box until until you see it flashing at this speed

    HI Scaldy,

The boxes have been glitching because the cable company were messing with the signal and codes recently.

Unplug your box for about a minute and plug it back back in again.
Go to one of the Movie Channels and wait for it to unscramble.

If you get 0000scrambled after this.
    Go to.
    Menu.
    User Installation
    Parental lock
    Current password 0000
    Parental lock –off
    Install lock ----off
    New password 7777
    Confirm password 7777
    Exit to TV Screen,
You need to go to parental lock again
    Current password
    Type 7777
    Goto key manager.
    Current key----ok
    Auto update -----off
Exit to TV screen and you should be sorted.

I unplug my box every night and haven't had a problem, except now and again having to do the parental lock thing.

    http://www.rayyonics.com/home.aspx

You could email the manufacturer, the home page is above.
    They aren’t very helpful though.
Or hope somebody has a spare one and contacts you.

If you live in the UK

The Gemini gad8 is the one that is supposed to work with any cable box, they are available in the UK in Asda. It has all the same buttons as the replay remote control.
I don't know if they can be bought in Ireland.

Mine is still there on 379.5(V)
I'm just down the road from you.
If you go to where MTV2 is, press OK on your remote.
    A Box will pop up.
In the bottom left of the box it should read ch181 FR 3795(V)
So if you had in the past few months it could be a signal problem from Nhell.

Try unplugging and pluging it back in again.

If none of the above is helpful.
    Do a full scan.

    Menu.
    User Installation.
    Auto Search.
    Start Frequency 200
    End Frequency 403
    Symbol Rate 6887
    Constellation 64Qam
    Search by Network ON
When all channels are found, select View
Then you will have to sort them into favourites.

Afraid it says ch111 FR 3795(V)
Think i'll leave it, cant be bothered sorting them all.
Ballymun TV! Ha what a joke, it just has a blank screen all day.

    On an unreleated matter:
Is the parental lock always 0000 or could whomever installed it for me have set it to something else?

    No worries Scaldy M8.
Unplugging the box at night it also stops the voltage adaptor on the mains lead from overheating.
I have been doing this ever since I got my box and have never had any problems.
I do full scans every now and then and if there's a change I copy the new frequency, do a factory reset to get the box back to the state it was before I did the scan and then do a manual search on the frequency that I was missing or was changed.

I can load the channel and favourites file onto this site and anybody that has a Null Modem lead Part number L71BT can download it to their PC and then load it to their box.
Only if you live in Dublin on Nhell.
The lead can be bought in Maplins about €18.

    Hope this is helpful Scaldy.

    Hi Rieman,

Your settings and software are the correct ones.
    Same as mine.
I think it's a signal problem as my brother had a similiar problem when he was living in the blocks in the "Mun" and it was OK when he got his house.

When we get the boxes first the password is set at 0000.
We have to use this to reset the parental lock and change the password to 7777 to unlock the box.
When the boxes are locked they are Legal.
When the boxes are unlocked they are illegal.

Sometimes when you upgrade the software or leave it unplugged for a few days the box will revert to the 0000 state.

If you are using a splitter to send the signal to the box, this can also cause some of the channels to disappear.
If so you could always try the signal directly to the box.

    Cheer's m8ty

Allrite dude thanks for all your help.
Afraid not using a splitter so ill leave well enough alone (for now!)

Regarding the cable you mentioned above, can i get some adaptor to connect it to a laptop cos i doubt that connection will fit any port on mine?
(Only thing that looks even like it is the monitor out and i doubt that would work!)

    Thanks Fergs.

The above should be useful to you Rieman.
You will need the two cables.
One from your USB port to the null modem lead and the null modem lead to your replay lite.

Howdy Affleck1... Flashing the box is quite easy to do...Just follow Brian1956's posts above and on previous pages (the one's with the little flashing red lights) and you'll be working within 30mins. I initialized my box a couple of weeks ago and installed 7.44 then 7.52 then 7.56 in about 20 mins, then the scan took about another 6 mins and everything was fine....Cheers...The Scaldy One!!!

Go into the windows device manager & make sure it's not reporting any problems with the USB adapter.

Then make sure you have the correct COM port set in STBlink
