i'm in dublin 10, mine gone and my friends also. I have a nokia
D BOX as well, that never went off before, it's gone now. Hope its not the end of our happy viewing.

Hi Guys

It appears NtHell sent out a virus this evening, as they have been threatening to do for some time. Box response times have even been affected.

I am currently reformatting my my replay lite and then will do a reinstall to see if it will sort out the problem.

Will let you know how I preceed.

How to Manual InPut Codes

1. Menu

2. Installation

3. Parental Lock

4. Red Audio Button for Goto Key Manager

5. Chose 'Current Key, and turn off the auto update.

6. Press the Blue button to choose the NAGRA option

7. Four left arrows back take you to 'Prov ID 0X55' is N*Hell

8. One down arrow takes you to the 0x00 - i.e. Key 00. Press OK

9. Up pops the HEX Keyboard - just type in the new numbers - it puts the dots in for you. Do this for Key 01 as well.

10. Exit out -should be sorted.

11. Dont forget to turn back on your "Auto Update"

Manually entered codes and installed 9.06, changed the codes to see if autoroll would work, sadly it didn't.

9.06 is excellent though, shame N*L have f**ked up the autoroll.

Anybody else finding their box "freezing" up (need to unplug and re-plug?)

The refresher course on how to manually enter the key was badly needed, it's ages since I had to do that.

So what's happened to "Auto Update"? It's not working on 7.52 either.

 

Can any user still running on 7.56 confirm if it rolled over or did you have to manually enter the keys too?

Thanks for the info Novice99. Did this on 2 boxes with the beta s/w on and it worked a treat. Tried talking my brother through it with 7.52 on it but he can't get it to exit back out of the menu. I can get him in and out of the nagra settings page. I've checked the codes and he's entered them correctly but he still can't exit out of the menu. Any ideas anyone ???

 

I thought they sent a virus, but they didn't. The reason the Replay is slow is because it is busy searching for updated codes. This sorts itself out when you put in the new codes.

N*hell have just changed their own software so a new flash will have to be developed for the Replay which usually takes a day or so for santa's good little helpers to write.

We will just have to rely on our good friends with "the Box" which doesnt seem to be affected by this outbreak to keep posting the codes from theirs for us in the meantime.

 

Just had the same problem with my dad's. Unplug and replug worked on it though.

I just plugged one in I hadn't had connected to the cable network and it didn't work, so it must be a new signal they are sending out.
Working with the new codes now.

Not happy out here in D5 I'm afraid. Tried the manual input 4 times but still NA Scrambled ! Tried with auto update turned on and off. Powered on and off also. Am I doing somethin' wrong ? I printed out the instructions posted but no go. Any thoughts?

Make sure you are not overlooking step 7. (It's very easy to do so)

When you press the blue button to get into NAGRA make sure to use the left arrow four times to bring the Provider to 0X55 & then enter the new codes.
