Sorry Tizler, i flashed the replay to 7.52 quite a bit ago, would recommend updating to the 9.10? will this stop the scrambleing of the channels?

Sorry not very good at this sort of stuff!!

Thanks for the info, if you give it the thumbs up i will try it over the weekend.

    hi all
first time user,so please excuse ignorance.
when i put the codes in this evening the channels came back on but they are very jumpy........almost like avery bad signal, any ideas??
i have just bought a laptop with only usb connections so is the zp43w lead from maplins the right one to get to get new software, i presume this is what you have been discussing in the previous pages( new software that will automatically update when those who must be disobeyed(n**) change the codes)
    thanks

put it on to one of the premium channels and give it a few minutes. It will update.

if u read the instructions above, you have to flash again and back with 7.42 and then with 9.10

If you have 7.52 - i repeat again, you have to flash with 7.42 and then 9.10, as the 9.10 is not compatable with 7.52

No, it's highly unlikely that a Laptop or even the newer Desktops would have a com port.

You will need both the USB adapter & the NULL Modem Cable.

    u need a usb convertor

Did you install the software driver for the adapter & then manually set the COM port number in the Windows Device Manager for it?

Was the firmware you downloaded a ZIP, RAR or EXE file?
