Repeat that again Anto but this time when you open STBlink "DON'T DO THE COM SETUP" Just go straight to the download part & see what happens.

If that doesn't work try it one more time only this time use the 742a firmware first.

Are you even getting the "Connection Established" on the STBlink?

Power down the Replay while still connected & power it up again quickly (Real quickly) you may need to try this a couple of times.

If you have an option to accept? then go for it, otherwise to the quick power off & on again.

No Anto I have never come across this before (You're good! I'll give you that ;-).

STBlink 5.20 is fine, that's not causing it anyway.

Have you tried rebooting the PC itself? I'm just wondering if the serial port is caught in some sort of loop?

Anto, do you have access to anyone who has a Replay that hasn't been upgraded yet? As in it having one of the v7 firmwares (Not the 9)cause you could clone it to the problem box.

It is possible the the boot loader on the problematic box has become corrupt.

As a last resort you could reflash the one you done earlier with 742a & use that to clone, then upgrade them both to 910.....

Remember Anto, You can not clone using the 910 firmware.

Look at my previous post, I edited it.

    Here's how to clone:

To do this just power up the WORKING BOX, we will call it "BOX 1) connect null modem cable to it.

Then with power OFF on second box (Plug Out) connect other side of null modem cable to this box (BOX 2). Then power up BOX 2. The light on the front of BOX 2 (the one you are copying to) will flash red/green approx every second for about 5 mins it will then flash rapidly when it is complete. When this happens it is complete. Unplug the power from BOX 2 and disconnect the null cable. You then have an exact copy of BOX 1 including password and favs.

You can then flash both of the boxes with the new 910 image
