IF ANY HAS ANY PROBLEMS WITH SOUND ON ANY CHANNEL, WHAT WORKED FOR ME WAS TO SWITCH OFF THE BOX WHEN I HAD NO SOUND AND THEN JUST TURN IT BACK AGAIN. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO THIS ON ANY CHANNEL WITH NO SOUND, BUT IT WORKS.

    HAPPY VIEWING TO ALL

Once your Replay Lite is switched on it needs up-to-date codes to unscramble the network. In my experience, once it is unscrambled it will stay that way until the network or mains power are disconnected, regardless of how many times the codes change.

An example would be if your box is switched on from 9am to 5pm and nthell change the codes at midday, your box will still be unscrambled at 5pm but if you can check your codes in nagra they will still be the old ones. However, once you unplug or if the network goes down for even a short period, it needs the new codes to unscramble again.

A mate of mine, whose box is still operating on 7.44 has only had to put codes on once and that was after the nthell network went down. The reason he does not have to keep putting in the codes is because he never switches off the box.

If someone on here looks for updated codes and your box has been switched on during the code change, it will not display the new ones until you have disconnected and then reconnected to the network.

I know it was a quick question and I am sorry for being so long-winded with the answer.

Cable network probably went down in your area for a couple of seconds sometime after the codes changed.

Thats a right pain in the a*s. Some advent and HP laptops don't have a 9 pin com port. Think its a ploy to make you buy a docking statiion with all the ports and adaptors. You have two choices really

    1. Buy a usb to serial adaptor to use with the Null Modem Cable such as this one http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=29968&C=Maplin&U=SearchTop&T=USB SERIAL&doy=24m6

    2. Bring the Replay lite to work or to a mate who has a pc with the port. Most laptops and almost all desktop pcs have a 9 pin serial port.

    Best of luck
