    thanks moggser...iv found the post by brian1956 on page 132 with the files for the software. i wont clone them now. thanks for the warning. one more stupid question. do i unplug from the tv and cable b4 i do all this?

    sorry mis read that l;ol yeah take pipe wire and scart out wont strecth as far as pc / lap top so safer that way no animals will be harmed in the upgeade proccses

    oh bugger and balls. the null cable wont go in my laptop or pc. the rs232 ports are the same as each other. is there a cable with both ends female? why did i open all the packaging before checking. duh.

    You need to upload the pic to somewhere like "Imageshack" & that will give you a direct URL link to the image (Scroll down the imageshack page a bit to see it).

    Copy that link

    Then on the reply page click on the coloured "Add image" button & paste the link between the [​IMG]

    Like the pics Gman, but the second guy could do with getting his eyebrows waxed! Quick question, my hubby dropped the remote last night and it stopped working. It was working fine just before that, no probs with the batteries or anything. Anyway, it wouldn't work at all after that and I was convinced that he'd broken it; I took the batteries out and put them back a few times. In the end had to plug box out to turn it off. He put new batteries in it today and it's working fine. Any idea how come? The other batteries hadn't been giving any probs at all before he dropped it.

    prob just a lose connection in the remote might go again too so be carefull oh what type box you got
