If I remember correctly you were using a reply lite on a cable setup & at this stage I feel there was some other issue affecting reception, some areas of the country are cabled but they are fed from a communal mast/antenna somewhere in the locality which may or may not have gone digital as yet so you might have been flogging a dead horse to begin with...who knows !!! I setup a dvb-c box in a rural area (small housing estate) all the houses there were cabled but fed from a local mast, the owner could only get a signal when youpissy came out to one of a number of under ground junction boxes in the estate & connected him up there even then neither the ev max, reply or kryptview worked very well & only a small amount of channels came through even though the boxes found over 100 with scanning, the only box that worked 100% was THE BOX (dvb - c) can you check with a neighbor at the new place who has MMDS & see if they have signal issues ?

    Hi again Lenny123,

I never actually got the Replay Lite to work, which was why I initially joined this forum.
I thought I was on cable until I enquired with youpissy [like the alias by the way ;)]
They informed me that Sligo is supplied through MMDS, which prompts me to get a different box as replay lite isn't compatible with MMDS.
I understand that the only options for Ch**us MMDS are The Box T or Eurovox TX.
Trying to figure out which to go for... i think I'll subscribe to the basic analogue MMDS package (€23.50 a month) and buy a box to get the rest of the channels!

Starview BoxT is the best to use easy to flash and set up the Euro Tx is slightly harder to flash and setup but it is really your own choice

for the extra €3 I'd go for the digital option,..that way if your own digibox ever goes down you'll have their box to fall back on.

I never had any problems flashing the TX ! did the BOX T auto update during the key changes ? the TX did & did'nt need any new firmware either.

Ya, i thought the same myself, but then if I want multiroom (probably another 2 rooms) I can't split the cable with digital, can i?
I think this can only be done with analogue.

I have digital and have my N*L box in one room and my Replay Lite in the other room, with the cable split. Have no prob getting 130 or so channels, but I'm in Dublin and the reception here is quite good. If yours is already bad, splitting it might make it worse and you might lose some channels.

HI, when you go into the edit channel menu and press ok on lock channel it should ask for your password. Enter your password and then go to the channel you want to lock and press ok. A small padlock should come up beside it on the list. Then exit and you should get please wait for saving data and then it should be locked. To unlock it repeat the process again.

It won't lock anything unless you have a password switched to on.
