Hi all, I live in Dublin city in an apartment block, last week my connection from the main tv connection within the block was disconnected and the input was capped with metal blockers. Does any one know if this has anything to do the replay lite box I have? Is it possible for the tv provider to track the box?

Does any body know how to remove the metal blockers on the main tv connection?

No they cannot trace your box and if you have paid your subscription get back on to them for them to turn it back on

That's a multipost moggs, he already got answered on another thread. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/678271

By the way have you tried using new batteries before you give up on it totally?

Just google replay lite remotes, or if you search back 20 or 30 pages of posts on this thread, there's a link somewhere.

Once, but posted twice (or maybe three times lol!) And even worse (cardinal sin) there was a big important football match on at the time (i didn't know but i was told!!)

Very quiet isn't it? How are your channels these days, have you lost any lately? Mine all seem to be fine the last week or so.

    Hi,

Been out of n_l land lately so gave my box to a mate in dublin.

When she set it up there was no red light on the front of the box so I assume there is a power source problem.

I may have given her the wrong adaptor cos i have quite a few for different things so could someone tell me what the spec of the adaptor should be?

    i.e. I think it is 12Vdc

Any ideas as to what else might be the cause?
Assuming the power supply isn't broken.

Riemann, just quickly try it in another socket elsewhere in the house. At work a while ago we had a dodgy socket that needed re-wiring!!

I see maplins are selling null modem leads for 9.99 a pop.
I bought and used mine for my box from cabling4less and it was 3.53 with delivery. This is UK. for posting to ireland it may cost a little more.... just a quick note there for the few posts ive seen recently about people who havent flashed yet. good luck!
P.S I do not work for cabling4less!! Good company tho..... lots of products..well for what I need anyhoo.

    prawny.

yes after you check the system information you will find that the firmware has not been loaded to the box check it

also you have all been told the correct way to flash the boxes and not daisy chain the box

so you either take the advice or do it your own way and suffer the penalty after
