Haven't seen creaky in here in ages - does that mean that everyone's been behaving themselves on this thread then?

Seriously have you had your replay lite freezing on you, just for a few seconds at a time over the last while. It always seems to be around 9 pm as well. Weird.

Went a bit funny last night too - it comes up NA scrambled for a few seconds and freezes, and then it's ok. Maybe i should try Novice's new channel dump?

The last few weeks, ever since the cc's started messing around with changing the channel frequencies. It doesn't happen that often, just if you're in the middle of watching a movie it can be a bit annoying.

    Hi Evastar
No not recommending you download and reinstall. The reason I originally mentioned the STBlink 6 was because feely was having a problem trying to write factory data with STBlink 5.20 which is the same problem I had myself a few weeks ago. STBlink 6 solved the problem for me so I thought I would share this with feely who had the same problem.

The problem you are experiencing is likely due to the fact that N*hell contractors are working at quite a few locations around the city at the moment to upgrade lines for broadband and phone service. They seem to be compacting their frequencies to support this. Just have to sit tight for a while and put up with the interruptions until they finish their work. Then we will see what else they have in store for the boxes.

So it's nothing to do with my replay lite then, or the flash? that's grand Novice, thanks. I'll leave it alone so. :)

Thats it. When a channel goes and doesnt come back is the time to take action. Till then, sit tight (",)

Basically lost most of my channels today. Dont know whats goin on. As I read on the previous page think it was Sc0user or moggser who said it that there working on areas for broadband connections and compacting the frequencies so this is probably the cause. Is there any way for me to get them back. Thanks

rescan the box but they might be working near you but a scan should bring them back

    Hi All,
Great work by everyone on this site, well done.
Just wondering if I can update Sky 1 & 2 & Channel 4, who's freq have changed without downloading the full channel dump, as I don't want to loose the way I have the channels sorted. Thanks in advance.

    Evastar

    Hi Elvis

Yes you can do a manual scan, but the frequencies depend on where you are based and who your service provider is. If you are N*L Dublin do a manual scan on frequency 347.5 and that should get them for you. Symbol rate 6887.

    Hi all,

Haven't added any of the firmware to my replay lite box yet, although I intend to soon. I've just been updating the codes when required. Thank you very much for the above information as I had lost a lot of my channels, including Channel 4, recently. I was wondering if anyone had the frequencies for DCTV please. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks Moggser. I downloaded the doc. novice99 chanl dump 5 July and I can't make head nor tail of it it I'm afraid. I presume it's a file for uploading onto the actual box but was just looking for the actual freq to manually update myself. Do you have a seperate list with these frequencies? Thanks for the info. I used 291 and it gave me the City channel and a few others like Setanta etc. I was actually looking for DCTV (Dublin Community TV). Sorry for being so niggly but if you have the info it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
