    @alcapone,Yes but you need to use a null modem cable in conjunction with the USB adapter. Looks like you are just using the adapter and gender changer, is this the case?

    Your fine Moggser so you have a 9 way null modem cable female at both ends and a standard USB adapter as should be the case.

    Ya just got in before me as I was going to say exactly what you were saying.

    L71BT in Maplins Null Modem lead is female to female, and is whats needed to transfer the files from your PC to the Box.

    Use in conjunction with USB converter.

    @ Eva yes as said in my OP there are DB25M to D9F leads but they are usually for legacy serial printers. DB9F to DB9F is what we all have, well I hope so :)

    Anyone got frequencies for BBc3 and 4 mine seem to be gone I deleted them and scanned back in but still no joy on N** dublin

    They were both on 363.500 as far as I remember Anto but I'm not 100% sure that is still accurate.

    Yea thanks Gman mine were untill tonight now they seem to be gone, I deleted them and rescanned and just brought back in same frequencies but still no picture etc. was taken the lazy way out to see if anyone had new frequencies, suppose I'll just have to keep searching, is yours working?

    i thought they was just off air for a bit and they might off been mine are back now anto so could of been a broadcasting prob
