output 12 volt 1 amp same as original power supply

Hey guys have a pal down in cork who just got a replay lite, it came loaded with sw 9.10, the prob is every time he goes to scan he's gettin no channels. He's doing a full autoscan using an active chorus connection using the correct symbol rate of 6875. I tried walking him through everything but he still has no channels whatsoever when he scans. Any ideas on what the prob might be?

 

Is he sure he's not on mmds? What part of cork is he?

 

He's at the westside of the city down around by the cork county council building if that helps?? not too sure if he's on mmds, how would one find out?

 

Is the service cabled directly to his house or does he have some type of antenna on the roof?

If he is mmds the replay lite will not be suitable for him.

No I have no chanells, Iknow the Polish guys cut the wire outside to make a better connection but it only made it worse.

Just got connected into chorus ntl(North County Dublin),got the digital pack as its cheaper then the analogue,anyway my replay lite box was working in Beaumont no problem at all.

When I plugged it into the cable in my new house(chorus ntl) it came up with a blue screen ,I then done a scan on 6887 and it still didnt find any channels.

Anyone have any ideas?

 

Try 6875

It depends on whether your provider was originally N*L which is 6887, or Chor*s, which is 6875.

Let us know whether it works or not.
