    Not sure of the model of the eurovox and not sure if he has a box from chorus.

    I'll find out and let you know.

    Cheers for your help thus far.

    Good, but if you want to have a chat meet me in the dvb chat thread, not here or creaky will be giving out to me! ;)

    btw, my replay lite went funny for a minute last night, froze and then said scrambled before sorting itself out, so maybe there was a roll, and maybe that's what's wrong with his box, he mightn't have the 910.

    If it is a replay lite remote it will work. Haven't seen the ones on ebay but try sky wonder for remotes too.

    Hi there,

    Power supply on my replay lite is gone and I found one on ebay with the correct spec. Just wanted to check with you gurus to make sure that it will actually work.

    any 12volt adapter will give it power, the two important things are the plug for the back of the replay lite and the fact that it must be 1 amp.

    and also that the plug in type is the right polarity or you will be in trouble as well some are - on the inside and some are + you need to check that

    Hey guys, need some help with my replaylite box. Basically its just totally frozen. Started when no signal started to come up on screen. Did the usual of unplugging it and starting it up again but still nothing. The green light stays on all the time, cant even turn it on or off with the remote control. Cant get into the menus or anything. Tried to install the new files again but on the stblink it kept saying to turn on the receiver to extablish the link, even though the green light was on! any ideas or thoeries? would me much appreciated

    Thanks guys

    @theshev77

    I didn't know what to do with this one, so had to ask our resident expert! He said "a hard boot reflash may do the trick. He needs to unplug the box, start the download, wait a few seconds and then turn the box on.

    It may take a few attempts before it takes. Other than that its a hardware issue."

    So if you give that a go and come back and let us know whether it works or not.

    Check your remote control.

    If you have a mobile phone with a camera, switch it to camera mode.

    Point the remote at the camera lens, and you should see the infra-red LED flashing on the screen.

    If you don't see it flashing, then yes, the remote is dead.

    If you do see it flashing, then it's not the remote

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If your remote is working and you are still having problems.
    Do this,
    Connect the Null modem lead from your box to your PC.
    Open up the Stblink and select "Run"
    DON'T do the Setup Comm.
    Untick the "Maintain User Data" box.
    Ignore the error message you will receive.
    Select "Upgrade Software" and get the 742A file.
    It will then start to transfer to you box.
    When your PC reads "Transfer Complete" WAIT another couple of minutes before unplugging.
    When the files are being transferred from your PC to the box, the led on the box will be flashing at this speed[IMG]
    DON'T unplug the box until until you see it flashing at this speed
    [IMG]
    When the flash is complete, unplug the box, null modem lead and exit the Stblink.
    Power up the box again and WAIT until the light on the front goes Green.
    Then do the above with the 910 file.
    Then do your Auto Search for channels.
