    It could also your nhell box at your window, if it's an older type box, this can result in a poor signal at certain freqs.

    If you have the old style nhell box, try your reply lite in one of your mates houses that a newer one.

    Go to RTE 2, you should get a picture as it is a freeview station and is unscrambled.

    If it's still not working try turning off the Parental lock and install lock.

    Menu

    User Installation

    Parental Lock......OK

    Current Password =0000

    Parental Lock.....OFF

    Install Lock.....OFF

    Press EXIT back to TV

    Make sure your auto update is switched on in Nagra.

    Go into menu, user installation, parental lock, press red button for key manager, current key, check nagra is switched to auto update.

    Has to be a signal problem.

    If you are using a splitter, try connecting the box without using the splitter.

    You can also try your TV cable directly into your TV to make sure you have a good signal.

    Signal is good as my Starview is working when I plug the cable into it. I can't get access to the Auto update in Current Key, when I select it the screen just flashes.

    But it does say auto update, right? What provider id have you got selected? Compare provider id etc on the starview with the replay and see if everything matches.

    When I select 'Current Key' the screen flicks and I can see the heading 'Edit Current Key' for a split seccond before it goes back to the page with the three options Current Key, Nagra, Reset. The box is also very slow to react to any of the buttons on the remote. When I got the box it had 4.9 on it. It game with instructions to update with 7.52irl but this only got me as far as 1800 Scrambled. Now have 9.10 on it.

    Maybe try flashing it again. Sometimes the flash doesn't take properly the first time. Make sure you don't plug it out too quick after flashing.

    When flashing should I use the 9.10 version and should the 'Maintain User Data' be enabled? Not very good at these things as the Starview I got was already setup.

    I think you should go to the Library.

    Download the 742A file and flash with that first.

    Then flash with the 910.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Connect the Null modem lead from your box to your PC.
    Open up the Stblink and select "Run"
    DON'T do the Setup Comm.
    Untick the "Maintain User Data" box.
    Ignore the error message you will receive.
    Select "Upgrade Software" and get the 742A file.
    It will then start to transfer to you box.
    When your PC reads "Transfer Complete" WAIT another couple of minutes before unplugging.
    When the files are being transferred from your PC to the box, the led on the box will be flashing at this speed[IMG]
    DON'T unplug the box until until you see it flashing at this speed
    [IMG]
    When the flash is complete, unplug the box, null modem lead and exit the Stblink.
    Power up the box again and WAIT until the light on the front goes Green.
    Then do the above with the 910 file.
    Then do your Auto Search for channels.
    After completing the search It found 129 channels and 35 radio. Next I selected the View button and it said Saving Data. I can now see some of the channels, on others the picture and sound is freezing up and on more channels the picture and sound is way out of sync. Hopefully these will sort themselves out after a bit of time.
    Well done PJ,
    You showed great patience.
    The channels should come into sync after a bit of time as you said.
    Cheers M8ty
