hey just done full scan on my tv channel list got some channels on fta but all the good channels on nagra and i says scrambled can you help thank you

 

just got that last mess my sw version has changed to 7 .44 will i have to do all off the above to get the rest off the channels that i cant get on nagra thanks for helping me do this mate

Yes the software will have to be updated from 744 to 752.
So you will have to upgrade as the above instructions.
I am confident that if you follow the instructions too the letter, you will be fine.

When you have the files downloaded to your PC.
You connect the null modem from your PC to the box.
You then open the stblink file(this one transfers the 752 file to your box)
When your PC reads transfer is complete,WAIT another couple of minutes for the flashing green/red to be flashing much more quickly than it was when you could visibly see when the file was transferring.
When transfer is complete, exit the stblink and unplug the box and disconnecy the null modem lead.

PLug back in the box and wait for your channels to unscramble.
It might take a while to do this but be patient.

If you know anybody with a working box you can clone your box from theirs.You will have to have a null modem lead part number L71BT.

CLONING THE REPLAY LITE

Simply plug in the GOOD box – attach a null modem cable to the back.
Take the your box; put it on top of the GOOD box,
Plug in the null modem lead
THEN FINALLY plug the power into the your box.
It will then start cloning from the your mates box.
During this time the red/green light will blink SLOWLY

When the red/green light starts blinking very QUICKLY – it’s cloned.
Unplug the your box first; remove the null modem leads from both boxes

Plug in your box, wait for it to come on THEN connect the TV leads.



To clone a box takes 3mins 42 secs. From the time you plug in the YOUR box.
So if you give it 4mins then it should be ok.
Even if you let it run for 5 minutes it won't harm the box.
But make sure the led is flashing much more quickly than it did when you first powered the box for cloning.
Then all your mates channels and favourites will be on your box.
So you won't have to do a scan.


It's very important to wait for the red/grteen led to be flashing much more quickly than it was when you first plugged in your box.
Don't be tempted to unplug too early or you will get a dead box.

Did anyone elses replay box go dead today? Mine just says no signal now. the nthell peple were messing around with the cables on my road earlier(upgrading lines apparently) but my replay lite boxes are still working perfectly. Any ideas? Do you reckon they are on to us?! The nthell guy told my uncle they were getting really pissed about all the boxes going around.. heres hopin they don't do something about it! ....also why do we say nthell and c****s??

 

Hi Damoirl,

You should still be able to get the freeview channels.
Rte 2, TV 3,Channel 6,Setanta Ireland,Bubble Hits and Euronews.
If you are not geting these channels, it's more than likely that the cable company that you use has changed something.
Connect your cable lead directly into your TV and see what happens.

What area are you in and I will see what I can find out.
My replay lite is working OK.
Dublin 9.

hi all just checking in to see if theres any update on the software patch for the info button

had no problems with the box for a while now in dublin 11.

 

dublin 12 here for the last 2 days they have been messing with the signal most mornings all week its been flickering on/off i,ve a sneaky feeling something is coming soon whoooooooo!! ppppsss if the makers of replay lite are reading this please please please fix the info or epg button pleeeezzzzzeeeeee..... ppss does anyone know any other websites that has a forum similer to this??

No news yet on the update, I have been checking around the other forums and nobody has anything yet.

 

There's a lot of upgrading going on at the moment.
There are lots of forums regarding different cable boxe's on the net.
I have seen many and believe me "this one is the best"

 

And that's for sure Brian ;-)

With no disrespect to the other forums I've noticed that when users reply they tend to give you the Info in bits or maybe a half of an idea as to where to go looking. I'm not suggesting they do it intentionally but sometimes I think they forget that they may be dealing with new people who haven't got a clue & actually need every step detailed for them.

That's what makes this forum different. If anyone here can help they will & with very detailed instructions & in your case Brian & Sc0users too you will even go to the bother of researching to get an answer wherever & whenever you can.

Sc0user,celitc and myself always try to treat everyone with respect and understanding, Moggser does that too.
So do all the other people who give up their spare time to come on and help, there are far to many to mention and to them all I apologise for not remembering their names.
Old age has crept up on me.

I remember when I first came on here after I had messed up flashing my replay lite, I got all the help I needed and more.
Oh yes I seem to remember who helped me out with that little problem.
Gman496 it was your good self.
From then on I wanted to learn all I could and to be as helpful as I could to everyone and I could and to pass on the help that was shown to me.
I have been around lots of different forums and the people on here are the most helpful by far.

Well there you go Brian, I had exactly the same introduction as your good self. I came to this forum seeking help & I hadn't got a clue, I asked for help & good old Debic came to the rescue & she was great, she stepped me through all the steps, that's what got me up & running at the time & like you & the others, if I can help anyone out here I will.

 

Fantastic forum even for the likes of me who hasnt a clue I get pms from people to say they have been here for a long time but have never posted as they can find all their info here already and just to say thanks.

As a community I think as Brian has said it far surpasses others and all the members here from new to old go out of their way to help people. As said I am here to learn more than teach as such is the wealth of knowledge here. With that you also find a lot of kind and friendly people here, (one or two Aho*es as well but they are always around).

You may remember some time ago I was looking to set up my lite in Malahide in C****s territory. I got hold of a Eurovox box on that occasion and it worked fine. I'm now trying the Lite in C****s in the Celbridge area. i flashed the box with V7.56 and have scanned the freqs on ox55 and 0x5e on the Nagra settings without success. Any ideas?
