No, I don't use it Steve.

In the STBLink software there is a button for "Setup Comm" make you choose the correct Comm port. If it is on the wrong Comm port it won't connect.

OH! I forgot, yes power the box.

If you don't know your COM Port number you can check it by doing the following.

    Click START.
    Right Click MY COMPUTER.
    Choose MANAGE from the list.
Click on DEVICE MANAGER in the lefthand pane.
Look for PORTS(COM & LPT) in the righthand pane.
Expand it & you will see your com port number.

    Steveirl,
Go to the link at the bottom of this page.

    Go to the replay folder.
In the documentation folder you will find a PDF file called Flashing the replay lite box.
Download it to your desktop and read it carefully before you do anything.

With the box connected to PC & powered on, is the STBLink reporting "Connection Established"?

If it is you are ready to go.

Well aido that was a good guess on my part about the lead on the box been busted anyway i am sure you would prob pick up one in maplins or in peats just bring the other lead with you and they should be able to match it up or maybe Brian might have another idea wait and see his response

Guys any help on this, below is what i have done

Go to the firmware folder you will find a file called replay lite 756
    Download it to your desktop.

In the software folder you will find the stblink 5.20
    Download it to your desktop.

In the documentation folder you will find a PDF file called Flashing the replay lite box.
    Download it to your desktop.

Flash the box as per the instructions in the flashing the replay lite box PDF,only use the new v756 file (insted of 752 which is in the instructions)

When you have the box updated.
    Do a full scan
    Start frequency 290
    End frequency 403

Symbol rate scroll left till you see *****, enter 6875 and press ok on your remote control.
Make sure it stays on 6875
    Constellation 64 QAM
    Search by network ON
Search ….when all channels are found select view.

    Go to parental lock
Current password 7777 it might be 0000
    Parental lock: OFF
    Install lock OFF
    New password 7777
    Confirm password 7777
    Exit back to TV

No joy coming up with 1800:scrambled

do i need to do this below ?

    Go to parental lock.
    Goto key manager,
    Nagra page.
Scroll left till you see 0x5E (if it’s not there, add provider ID) Type 5E in the box that pops up.
    Exit back to tv.

WHAT DO I PUT IN THE ID 0x5E

    what goes in 0x00 and 0x01 ???

thanks a lot, very frustrating this

    im still seeing 1800:Scrambled.
replay lite upgraded from 752 to 765 on chorus

my box is unlocked because i see the 1800 and not 0000

i installed 765 as the software is now 7.65 in the receiver information.

i did all the steps in the Flashing The replay Lite.

although if i go to Current key and press ok the screen flashes
    no other dialog box appears

if I go to Key manager and click on Nagra
    its on

    0x01

There is a 0x5e in the Prov ID if i scroll over but it never stays on this screen if i exit out it defaults back to 0x01

anyone that can help me get this working i'll be so grateful.!

    thanks
    Steve

0000scrambled usually means the box is locked.
1800scrambled is what you usually see if a channel is off the air.

    To unlock the box,
    Then go to menu,
    User Installation
    Parental lock
Current password 0000 if not try 7777
    Parental lock –off
    Install lock ----off
    New password 7777
    Confirm password 7777
    Exit to TV Screen,
You need to go to parental lock again
    Current password
    Type 7777
    Goto key manager.
    Current key----OK
    Auto update -----off
Exit to TV screen and you should be sorted.

    Hi Steveirl,

If you are connected to nhell, the box should work in Waterford.

Manual Instructions for key entry in Replay Lite.

    1. Menu

    2. Installation

    3. Parental Lock

    4. Red Audio Button for Goto Key Manager

    5. Choose the top option and turn OFF the auto update.

    6. Press the Blue button to choose the NAGRA option

    6. Use the left scroll button to get to your Provider ID which will be one of the following:
Four arrows back takes you to 'Prov ID 0X5e' which is Ch##s

    7. When you select your provider, one arrow down takes you to the 0x00 - i.e. Key 0. Press OK

    8. Up pops the HEX Keyboard - just type in the new numbers - it puts the dots in for you. Do this for Key 01 as well.

    Codes for 0x00 type 4B.7C.D5.86.E7.01.CC.96

    Codes for 0x01 type 81.34.4B.3C.9E.DF.10.67

    9. Exit out to TV.

In certain parts of Dublin, this software doesn't seem to work.
So I am not sure if it will work for you m8.
The above codes are probably already on your box as it should do this automatically.

    Hi Aido,

    How's it going m8ty,

As young Fergs say's Maplins or Peats will sort you out. Just bring in the dodgy lead.
    Cost about €22

I had the same problem as yourself a couple of months ago.
I am using a Unicross regulated AC/DC adaptor.
The voltage setting on it has to be set at 12V and theres a little jack that connects it to the box, you might have to move this around to get the correct polarity.

Hope you are keeping well m8ty,
    Best of luck

Is there anyone out there know if a Replay lite on Cho$$s works in the Swords are in County Dublin.

ive wasted 2 nights setting this up

ive updated ver 752 to 765
i have unlocked the parental control
all i seem to be getting is 1800:Scrambled

if i do a prescan search i get No Programs found between 270 and 390

i did a full scan yesterday when i had nothing done i.e unlocked and i was on 752 and it found 19 channels but after search i went to the channel it said 1800:Scrambled

if it finds channels does that mean i have a signal or it can work?

it cant find any channels now

ive tried searchingon 6785 you name it

in the prov ID i have 0x5e but its not defaulted on that when i go in its in the list but what appears when i go into this screen is 0x01

i bought this box for 200 in a market on sunday if i dont getit working this w/e i;ll be going back up for my money back..

id say it works perfect on NTL on 752
    but i have dodgy Chor&&

time to go to bed, browned off.!
