Replay Lite

There's only three was that I know of.

1. Use a multi region DVD player (Yours must not be?)
You can also Google the make & model, many have codes that you can enter via the remote to make them Multi Region. (Mine has)

2. Play it on you PC by changing the Region code on your PC DVD but be very careful doing this because it only allows you do do it five(5) times before it locks it to the last one set.

3. Use a very well know piece of free software to copy the DVD to your PC & then burn it to a blank disc using something like Nero. This will leave the copy with no region specified (Region Free) so it will play in anything.

do i need win zip to download files on to the box

I think you need to do a bit of reading panoodles.

WinZip is software that's used mainly to compress files so the become smaller. It's also used to uncompress them for normal use.

People use WinZip to make file(s) smaler in size for easier transfer over the Internet. Then when people download them they have to uncompress them so they can use them.

Guess what i went over to the parents house who have NTHELL.
Anyway brought over the Replay lite box hooked it all up and realised i forgot the remote control for the replay lite.
Can My WEEK get any WORSE..!!!

Right im jinked with this box, its going back on Sunday to the market were i bought it.

Please someone can ye recommend what box i should by for Cho**s in Swords.

Should i get a EuroBox or should i get a Starview box ?

i cant trnsfer stblink.exe to box as it says connection unestablished???

 

You need the following

A Null Modem cable
STBLink software (To allow you to transfer the firmware file to the box)
The firmware file itself.

Have you got all three items?

 

have da null modem cable and had to connect it to a usb to 9pin male as there woz no 9pin on da laptop. also ave da stblink. which firmware file i need??

Then go to the link at the bottom of this post,go to the replay folder,then documentation and download the flashing the replay lite instructions.

This document will guide through the flashing process.
Read it carefully and you should have no problems.

I'm makeing a few mistakes tonite, overworked and underpaid.
I have fixed my last post and all is working now.
Apologies for my lame brain, tonite.

The best of luck flashing the box.
Just make sure you read the flashing instructions all the way through before you proceed with the flashing.
You should have no problems.

Just a little curious,

I performed a full scan on a brand new Replay today, I never even looked to see what software was on it beforehand. It scanned fine & found 144 channels (2 were duplicates so the true figure is 142). Everything is working sweet, so I had a look then to see what software was onboard, it has v7.56 installed.

I'm on NTHELL in Galway Ireland & always thought that v7.56 was for Cho**s only?

I know they're both the same company now but what's the story?
Anyone know what makes v7.52 & v7.56 different?
Both seem to work fine here for me?

 

GMAN i couldnt get either working on Chrous in Swords.

Its mad and Brian told me that Replay Lite was the best box and hear I am trading it in for another box i.e Starview or Eurovox because It doesnt work for me so im going down hill quickly on ski's lol
im dreading sunday were i go and try get my money back.
but the guy did say i could bring it back if i had problems.

i'll get my 200 back and hopefully by a box from Fergs for 150 euro ?

Fergs what you going to charge me man?

That's the problem with the 756 software,it doesn't change the default key to 005E,it leaves it on 0055.
If you go to the nagra page with the 756 software,005E isn't there.
It's there with the 752 software,but the cyrrent key is set for default at 0055,that's why the 756 won't work on ch###s.
