requesting assistance from digdunc

noticed your knowledge,i got a nokia dbox 2 sportster from germany to me in rep of ireland ,i wish to manualy scan as cable brutforce & others arent registering,yet when i go to services option & sericescan the manual option on the screen is on off & i am not able to highlight it to change it to "on" where do i go to do this.?

manual scan should be off. If it is from germany it might work for the UK & might work for ireland, try UK sym 6887 brutforce. Fast scan off, and manual scan off, new bouquet.

 

thanks for reply ,i tries it last night but 6887 brutforce is not an option i can choose.I got a large email of instructions from the german seller in it he says to try a manual scan ,but the manual scan option is set at "off" I cannot access the manual scan option to highlight to change it to "on" ,Any advice ,is there a sub menu for this option?

 

Try 'Fast Scan OFF'. Ignore the manual scan.

It will take awhile.

If it deson;t work, then the best thging to do is to flash a UK image on your DBox.

 

you will need to reflash and also add irish service and bowks

Just get your self a cross over cable and ile supply the rest
