I have Resident Evil 4 for P.C. and am trying to make a backup copy. I have tried everything imaginable and can't get it to work. The only message I get is please insert the original disk when trying to play the copy. Anyone have any luck with this and can offer some advice?

    Thanks!!

Assuming its a DVD not in cd format you can use DVD DEcrypter in .iso mode
To make a complete .iso image and then use the same program
to burn the image you created.

If the original is in cd format, you could use Alcohol 120%
instead to make the image and then burn,

Dvd decrypter is a free method , and make great .iso images of game /ps2 dvd's. It also has been known to work with some cd-r.
But it was made to be used with dvd media.

Alcohol is a great alternative option , but isn't free , but does offer a free trial.
This program works well with any type of cd or dvd media commercial or otherwise.
Will also can and emulation protections that are found on a lot of game disks also, but again is not free.

There are plenty of guides posted here that will explain
how to make and burn an image.

    Good luck
