    If your using xcopy
    try downloading anydvd
let the movie run for a moment or two
    then it will debug
    then copy with xcopy
    it worked for me..

    tomt7898,

Are you trying to test my patience? You've already posted that 2 or 3 times in this thread.

I know I already warned you about reading the forum rules. Which one of them is No Multiposting.

I used CloneDVD free trial download to save the ISO to the harddrive using the writable disc size 8.5 GB (DVD-9) with Whole disc checked. After the rip was finished I used the Open File feature on DVDShrink. Went to Re-Author, picked Main Movie. (Title 1 is wide screen and Title 2 is full screen.) Picked the Title I wanted then using Set Start/End Frames ran the Start Frames right up to the point where the first "Screen Gems" logo shows up then hit Back Up from there. Perfect copy. Only made two coasters figuring this one out. :D

    Good Luck,
    Moloch

[bold]SUPER DVD COPY[/bold] did the trick for me! I just told it to rip the movie to 1 single file. I then encoded it and burned it with DVD Shrink/Nero 6.

Well I read all the articles and found that VobBlanker worked to rip RE2 and I didn't need to use DVDShrink to downsize it though I'm backing it up to DVD+R. I found that if you set VobBlanker to not process the other movie file Resident Evil has for it's fullscreen movie on the disk you can directly burn it to disk using Nero 6. Thank all of the people for your input, now I have a functioning copy of RE: Apocalypse.

    jayscott,

You have got to read the thread you post too -

There are 3 different methods to backup that DVD.

Here is the DVD Decrypter way -

Once again, so that someone like ccwdude doesn't call it their method and try to take credit for it instead to those who deserve it - Lighting U.K., the author of DVDD -

Find everything on this page, the PSL file is 6th from the bottom -

    http://forum.dvddecrypter.com/index.php?s=89e63571c3a59eb2cfa2d2d930c85a89&showtopic=14891&st=0

All the instructions are there too - (To handle the "attached file, right-click it, download it to your Desktop -

    Cheers,

    Pete

I just bought Resident Evil Apocalyse dvd movies tonight. I was able to make perfect backup dvd copies using Vobblanker, Shrink, and Nero burn method. I didn't have to use the PSL patch file. The copy version has all the menus including both widescreen and full screen versions. I basically followed one of the direction in this thread. When it calls for reauthoring when using Shrink, I choose full disc backup and it worked just fine for the main movie dvd and used just normal decrypter and shrink method for special feature dvd disc. I read just about all the thread regarding copying the RE2 dvd before I attempted to copy and luckily I didn't creat any coasters. Thanks for all others who posted various methods to copying this dvd movies.

thanks for the replies and the help. It took about 3 hours but I was able to copy the movie finally. Sorry about question redundancy, I read 4 of the 11 pages on this post. I appreciate the help and don't want to piss anyone off as I may need your help another day. Until then I certainly plan to learn a lot by reading in here.

    Just get AnyDVD 4.4.0.0
Then burn with DVDCopy Express or any other burning program
